My Chemical Romance Streams New Album:

My Chemical Romance

One week before the release of the band’s new album, Danger Days: The True Lies Of The Fabulous Killjoys, My Chemical Romance has streamed its upcoming record, on Youtube of all places, with trippy video accompaniment and the comical stylings of DJ Dr. Death Defying.

I rip on modern Weezer a lot but Pinkerton is truly a great, brooding, work, from a more magical time in the band’s history.  You can listen to a stream of the deluxe edition right here. I suggest you do.

Today, via the band’s Web site, The Bouncing Souls announced that for their four date holiday stint at The Stone Pony, the New Jersey Punk gods will be playing album specific evenings.  Here’s the list.

26th: Songs from “The Good, the Bad, and the Argyle” and “Maniacal Laughter”

27th: Songs from “Self-Titled” and “Hopeless Romantic”

28th:- Songs from “How I Spent my Summer Vacation” and “Anchors Aweigh”

29th: Songs from “The Gold Record” and “Ghosts on the Boardwalk”

Who’s coming with me to the show on the 27th?

My Chemical Returns home to The Garden State on Saturday May 7th, 2011. when the band will play Starland Ballroom.  It’s a bit too far to in advance to care,  however, the true fans should be notified that tickets go on sale this Saturday.  Go here for more information.

This is happening at Starland Ballroom on Thursday.  Watch The Aquabats toss a three-year old sacrificial lamb (toddler) to a crowd of hungry wolves (the audience) below.  Apparently, this also happens.  So bring the kiddies why don’t ya:

Spoon releases a new video for “Nobody Gets Me But You,” a track off the band’s critically acclaimed 2010 album Transference.
