Who Wants Christmas Music?

Tis the season of good tidings, the season of giving, so be merry and enjoy a shit ton of free Christmas tunes.

Kanye West brought in a cast a characters including Big Sean, Pusha T, and Cam’ron to name a few, to construct this collection of Christmas rhymes.  It ain’t Dean Martin, but it’s not bad.

Two of the best Indie Rock bands on the market hooked up to make this Christmas classic.  Beth Cosentino (Best Coast) and Nathan Williams (Wavves) are the first-couple of the hipster realm and their song “Got Something For You” is definitely an ode to one another.

Beach House‘s “I Do Not Care For The Winter Sun” is a beautifully constructed, cold weather classic with sleigh bells.  The vocals are more majestic than the version “Little Drummer Boy” by that old school chorus line.

Actor and musician Jason Schwartzman goes by the stage name Coconut Records.  He made this Christmas song.  It’s pretty good.
Los Campesinos! is making its own quarterly magazine named Heat Rash.  To kick off its first publication they have released a free Christmas track called “Kindle A Flame In Her Heart.”

The A.V. Club got Andrew W.K., The Walkmen, Kate Nash, and The Dresden Dolls, among others, to cover their favorite Christmas songs.  Check it out here.
