Since exiting prison, Lil Wayne’s been busy prepping a new album, collaborating with Chris Brown and Busta, announcing a tour with Rick Ross, Travis Barker, Nicki Minaj, and Mix Master Mike, and apparently in what little spare time he has, Wayne enjoys freestyling about the Super Bowl.
“Green And Yellow” is Wayne spitting over Wiz Khalifa’s “Black And Yellow” beat, but in the opening line makes it perfectly clear that “…this ain’t a dis song,” before proclaiming “Uh huh, yeah, you know what it is. I’m a cheese head, yall niggaz cheeze whiz,” possibly the greatest line ever written in a song about the Big Game.
Move over ’85 Bears because your “Super Bowl Shuffle” just got knocked off its pedestal, and on Sunday afternoon when “Green And Yellow” explodes out of your speakers, Vince Lombardi will surely be rolling in his grave while your rolling on the floor laughing.
UPDATE: Here’s the thing, I got a call from Wayne’s people this morning telling me to remove the song from this page. I tried to talk to them and appeal to the Chese smokin’ weed lovers within…err, strike that, reverse it…but apparently those are only a few of Weezy’s favorite things, not his lawyers. Thus, the song is gone. I was going to link Wayne’s facebook page because that’s where I got it at 4 a.m., however the track’s download feature has been removed.
Therefore, if you want still want the track send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get it to you.
