Bonnaroo 2011 Day 2: Primus…The Jam Band

The Les Claypool led Primus put on a 13-track performance upon the Which Stage, from the looks of it a disappointing length, but one none the wiser fails to realize the lengthy jam sessions held within such classic cuts as “American Life,” extended from its album run time of 4:32 to more than 10 minutes.

The performance left some show goers wanting, aside from the stage’s sound issues (Roo’s secondary main stage had volume issues all weekend, usually too low for those in the rear to hear) and the Jamming turned up to the max causing many audience members to lose focus mid track, Primus failed to play its Pork Soda hit and fan favorite “My Name Is Mud.”

However, rumbles could be felt in Centeroo when the band ripped into “Jerry Was A Racecar Driver,” which you can download for free below.
