Speaking Out: SIMGE Talks With Renown Local Artist Quincy Mumford

In four years, Quincy Mumford has honed his chops in the Asbury music scene, producing a pair of acclaimed and award winning full-length efforts, and recently dropping his latest 10-track collection, Speak, in front of a capacity Wonder Bar audience back in April, which is sure to garner more accolades at this year’s Asbury Music Awards.

After a recent late night performance at Quincy Mumford & The Reason Why‘s Feel Good Thursday, held at Jamian’s in Red Bank every Thursday evening, Mumford was gracious enough to discuss several topics with SIMGE for the Speaking Out series, including writing with local living legend Glen Burtnik, recording with Lakehouse Music, and working with an artistic non-profit organization named Musicians On Call, that believes in the healing power of the arts…check it out:
