Bomb The Music Industry! Releases New Single

This week, Ska-Punk outfit Bomb The Music Industry! released a new track, tour dates, and a message:

“So a little while ago, I thought it might be a cool idea to try and release some new Bomb the Music Industry! jams through a charity, instead of through a music blog, as a way to draw attention towards some shit that we believe in, RIGHT?!?! From this simple idea now comes the 1-800-SUICIDE PICK UP THE PHONE TOUR with us and The Sidekicks!

This is some exciting shit for us. Not only have suicides affected the lives of many of our band members, but I can remember going to the Take Action tour when I was younger. Common Rider and The Lawrence Arms played. It was just a good feeling that helped pull me out of some bad stuff I was going through at the time. Which is the whole point of the Hopeline (not to be confused with the Verizon Hopeline, which I’m pretty sure is only there to cause bad stuff.)

So we’re stoked that out of “Can we put an MP3 on your site?” came a tour, where we can help spread the word about a cause that we feel is inarguably great. So CLICK RIGHT HERE to check out the dates of the tour as well as the song “Savers” from the soon to be ignored Bomb the Music Industry! record Vacation.”

Neon Dynamite Covers The Rolling Stones

The Brooklyn-based Neon Dynamite is well versed in the art of rubbing the Funk on Dance-Pop numbers.  The band’s 2011, self-titled, debut EP, a triumvirate of overtly danceable, undeniably funky, and enthralling soul tunes which can be downloaded for free here, has quickly grown into a favorite at SIMGE.

Neon Dynamite recently played Spike Hill and at this performance dropped a booty shaking rendition of The Rolling Stones‘ “Satisfaction” on the crowd…and you can grab it below:
