Plus Plus Minus (feat. Quinn English Of The Gay Blades) Drop New Tunes

The recently formed Red Bank, NJ-based Plus Plus Minus, featuring Quinn English (a.k.a. Puppy Mills of The Gay Blades), his wife Lisa Cusack-English, and front-man Jed Higgerson have bestowed upon the music listening world its first official release, a pair of demo tracks.

The first, “Saw,” is a dusty deserted piece of sexified Sludge-Rock that hooks the listener with a huge melody and repetitive guitar riff that crackles like the aftermath of a lightning strike, while “You Lie” is led into battle by jagged fret-work, the charred chords methodically struck resembling a lost track from some Queens Of The Stone Age session.

No shows have been announced yet, however, you can see English in action this Saturday night at Asbury Lanes when The Gay Blades release the duo’s debut full-length, Ghosts on vinyl…pick up the band’s 2010 record, Savages, while your there too.
