Update: Nicole Atkins Played Jack’s Music Shop

Due to a “parade of garbage trucks,” a faulty draw bridge in the city, and “an old woman walking in the middle of the street” Nicole Atkins was a 30 minutes late to her in store performance and record signing at Jack’s Music Shop in Red Bank, allowing the top floor of the famed independent music outlet to fill up with excited onlookers who took in an intimate five song-set from Neptune’s own beloved songstress.

Atkins treated the assemblage to “Cry Cry Cry,” a cut from her 2011 sophomore full-length release Mondo Amore, three songs, including the title-track, from her debut Neptune City, and yet to be released number named “Monterey Honey.”
