The Gaslight Anthem Premier New Song

Garden State favorites, The Gaslight Anthem, have released a live recording of a “Biloxi Parish,” a new track said to be on the band’s forthcoming album, which has yet be titled but is scheduled to come out sometime in 2012.

The soulful Punk outfit debuted its new track at this year’s Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands and, well, I can’t really stop listening to it.

Fallon and Alex Rosamilla waltz along fret boards, bending strings until they emit submissive squeals, while Benny Horowitz and Alex Levine cut a path through this landscape of injured relationships, deferred love, and the tortures of touring.

“I ain’t seen my home in half a year,” croons the soulful front-man Brian Fallon, “I miss my mother and my friends / Please tell Rita I been prayin’ for all that trouble to finally end / But when this whole thing is over and we land in Asbury’s arms / When the bands all quiet down and it’s just you and me in the dark / I won’t say nothin’ cause that’s how I know your heart…”

Check it out below and let the anticipation begin for The Gaslight Anthem’s fourth full-length release:
