Outside The Box…The Shape Of Rock To Come

On Wednesday July 27th, 2011, The Stone Pony’s house band, Outside The Box, continued it’s Summer residency at the storied boardwalk venue by performing two albums, Elvis Costello’s classic debut My Aim Is True as well as their own soon to be classic first studio full-length Bridge.

I was on site to cover the happenings for the Asbury Park Press and Metromix…this is my stroy…or, at least, a link to my story.

Outside The Box will be back at The Pony this coming Wednesday the 17th where the outfit will perform Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s The Wild, The Innocent, & The E Street Shuffle, as well as a set of originals…who knows what special guests might show up?
