The Brighton Bar Hosts Main Man Records’ Release Party For Runaways Tribute

Tonight, The Brighton Bar in Long Branch will play host to Asbury’s own Main Man Records and a slew of acts that contributed to the label’s forthcoming release of Take It Or Leave It: A Tribute To The Queens Of Noise…a.k.a. the inexplicably influential 70’s Hard-Rock outfit, The Runaways.

Performing throughout the evening will be Richard Barone, the Brooklyn-based Pop-Punk outfit Care Bears On FireRichie ScarlettBlue Fox (originally featuring Runaways stick wielder Sandy West), Long Branch’s own The Easy OutsFrankenstein 3000 (feat. Keith Roth, creator of Main Man Records) who released a music video for it’s addition to the compilation, a rendition of “California Paradise,” a track for which the band released a music video for May, and many more.

Come out and pick up a great record for a great cause, as a portion of the proceeds raised from album sales will be donated to the American Institute for Cancer Research in honor of the aforementioned Sandy West, who lost her fight with cancer in 2006.
