“Everybody’s ok with a Country record, right?” inquired River City Extension front-man Joe Michelini in post made on his personal Tumblog this afternoon, prefacing an audio stream of a new demo, “Vanessa’s Songs (New Revelation),” which was recorded in Toms River, NJ on August 14th (yesterday).

The track features Michelini on acoustic guitar and vocals with fellow RCE member, Sam Tacon, on backups.

According Michelini’s post, “Vanessa’s Song” is slated to be on the Folk-Rock collective’s forthcoming sophomore studio release, the follow up to the band’s renown 2010 full-length The Unmistakeable Man.
