The Misfits Tap Two Of The Boardwalk’s Best For Upcoming Shows

As previously reported, the Ocean County Grunge-Rock outfit, Senium, has already been by booked by the Garden State’s legendary Horror-Punks, The Misfits, for the band’s annual Halloween weekend show at Starland Ballroom on Friday, October 28th.

And recently, it’s been confirmed that The Misfits have plucked another from the planks as Lost In Society has been given the opportunity to open for the band at The Chance Theater on October 14th in Poughkeepsie, NY, adding to the list of national touring acts the Asbury Pop-Punks have performed with in 2011, which includes The Bouncing Souls, Tim Barry, The Pietasters, and HR from Bad Brains.

And soon to be added to that list is the Virginia-based Melodic-Hardcore outfit Strike Anywhere that will be commencing its Fall tour at Asbury Lanes on Tuesday, September 27th.  On the bill that evening, as well as Lost In Society, The Chunksaah Records signee will be supported by current tour mates A Wilhelm Scream, and The Copyrights.  This will be an all-ages event with a cover charge of $12.

Senium, who can be viewed this Saturday night at The Court Tavern in New Brunswick, recently released its debut full-length Such Progress, a 12-track collection recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago by the musical masterminds that are Steve Albini and Bob Weston…it can be downloaded for free here.

Lost In Society recently cut five track EP with Pete Steinkopf at The Bouncing Souls’ axe wielder’s Asbury-based studio dubbed Give Me Your Hope, the follow up to the band’s debut full-length Eastern Empire.
