The Scottish Ambient-Rock outfit and soundscape construction crew, Mogwai, announced on Sunday evening that it would be postponing its greatly anticipated mini U.S. Tour, including two scheduled performances at Webster Hall in New York and the group’s Sunday set at the forthcoming I’ll Be Your Mirror festival, presented by All Tomorrow’s Parties, in Asbury Park this weekend.

The band issued this statement:

“It is with the utmost regret that for medical reasons we have to postpone our American shows this week and cancel the I’ll Be Your Mirror performance. We will announce new dates as soon as possible and apologise for the last minute nature of this announcement.”

No other information has been provided about the medical situation nor has a timeframe been provided for when these six-dates in the states will be rescheduled…stay tuned for more.
