Date For 2011 Asbury Music Awards Has Been Announced

If you’ve read the title of this post and perused the poster for the event then you get it…everyone’s favorite arts and entertainment awards gala is almost upon us and the date has been set for Sunday November 13th.

Last year the event was hosted by The WRAT’s Rockin’ Robin while this year’s 19th Annual Asbury Music Awards will see an equally awesome radio personality at the helm in DJ Jeff Raspe (90.5 The Night), who was tapped by the event’s presenters, Scott Stamper of The Saint and The Asbury Music Company, despite not owning an impressive pre-name adjective.

There will be 25 awards dealt out to the areas best local musicians, journalists, and supporters of the scene, as well as live performances from nine of the best acts our community has to offer.

The all-ages event will be held at The Stone Pony with doors set to open at 4:30 p.m.

The lineup nor the nominees have been announced, but stay tuned, because you’ll know when I do.

SIMGE hopes to see you all there.
