Planet Cognac Attacks, New Tunes By Space Jesus & Mikey Likes It

Recently, a pair of unidentified bogeys entered the selective airspace in my mind and ominously hovered, green and purple fluorescence blinking and twinkling well into the night, a decal alien to me featuring a glass goblet which contains the most baller diamond the world has seenthen they attacked.

Dub Step gunships from a not so far off world known as the underground dance scene of New Brunswick opened fire on the fortress of my subconscious, heavy bass laden beats shaking and quaking those city walls to the foundation, invading the bombed out grounds and transforming my imaginary friends into head banging dance fiends with a series of captivating hisses and squeals.

Eventually it was revealed that the assaults were carried out by Space Jesus and Mikey Likes It, a pair of producers from collective known as Planet Cognac, and I couldn’t be in more of a healthier state of disco bliss.

Space Jesus’ above track features Philadelphia’s Peter Oftheflight and is a tribute to his fallen friend of whom he wrote: “In Loving memory of Sara Spingler.  One of my dearest friends in the world.  And one of the most intimate loves i have known. Beautiful, Caring, Understanding, Intelligent, Forgiving. The embodiment of Love. The purest of Light…” You can read the rest of his dedication here.

Meanwhile, Mikey Likes It dropped a six-tune mix dubbed Brainwashed Lizard Puppet that includes an insane Marvin Gaye remix and an equally chaotic and captivating title track.  Donwnload it below and grab the rest of it here.
