The Call Out’s Jon Ferris Covers Wolftron

Middletown, NJ’s own Pop-Punk outfit, The Call Out, is a band of the people and for its fans, a fact recently made clear with the release of its first cover song, an acoustic solo rendition of Wolftron’s “Goodness” via front-man Jon Ferris, in which the vocalist called out (I’m in a turbo pun kinda mood) to his followers, essentially asking his base of enthusiasts to choose the collective’s future.

Much like those children’s books, to have The Call Out play your garage, all you would have to do is turn to page 78.  But seriously, to have The Call Out play you garage, you may only have to leave a comment on it’s latest video.

“Anything you want us to do,” explained Ferris in his pre-cover monologue, “anywhere you want us to play, any ideas you might have for us, anything, even if you want to just talk to us, leave a comment below.”

Although no dates have been announced yet, according to Ferris, The Call Out will be releasing a new EP sometime in the “near future,” as well as performing live at several scheduled events, and is making a push for coveted time slots on the Vans Warped Tour as well as The Bamboozle festival.

Feel free to Book The Bamboozle lineup here, request your favorite bands for the 2012 Warped Tour, coming to Monmouth Park on July 22nd, here, and grab The Call Out’s latest track, one which just might be included on the forthcoming EP, below:
