Mad Feather Group Gives Debut Album A Name & Spooky Birthday

Trick Or Treat music enthusiasts…According to the Jackson, NJ- based Soulful Folk-Rock collective, Mad Feather Group, and the outfit’s bass plucking ivory tickler, Roshane Karunaratne, the band’s greatly anticipated debut record is slated for a most spooky release date of Halloween.

That’s correct folks, the always depressing blow marked by the commencement of AMC’s beloved Monsterfest will be softened as Mad Feather Group will bestow upon us what is sure to become and equally endeared record…and its name is Magic Stuffing, just in time for Thanksgiving.

With help from one of SIMGE’s favorite new music video artisan and DREAMMKRS founder, Anthony Yebra, the group has gone on a grassroots multimedia marketing campaign for its forthcoming record that’s included the release of new music as well as a triumvirate of thought provoking live motion music visuals in Yebra’s heavily front-lit universe and on his signature grainy and cigarette burnt film stock.

“That’s Too Much”

According to Yebra, he and Mad Feather Group are planning on a couple of more videos to be released in the near future.

Be sure to catch the band at The Brighton Bar in Long Branch on Saturday November 5th with The Riverwinds, New York Rivals, and Easy Tiger.  Doors are at 8 p.m. with a $7 cover.
