Update On Wreaths Debut Album, Strange Vids And A New Demo, Playing The Saint

It was recently reported that the Indie-Fuzz Bomb and Psychedelic-Rock outfit, Wreaths, is recording its debut record, for which the photo above might be album art…however, due to the recent releases of an ominous sounding rough demo, and a multitude of  eerie home movies, some with equally terrifying tunes played over very non specific scenes, it has dawned on this reporter that what we might be receiving in January (a tentative release date according to band member Ralph Nicastro) is not a record at all, but some sort of snuff film…for instance:

All speculation aside, SIMGE is digging the tunes and Wreaths was kind enough to drop a demo early for our minds’ consumption.  Grab it below:

If you’re not too frightened, head out to The Saint on Sunday (October 23rd) to catch Wreaths live alongside Sour Soul, Fresh Millions, and Tiny Victories.  Doors are at 7 p.m. with a cover of $10.

NOTE: I at SIMGE do not actually believe that Wreaths is making a snuff film, just a really great collection of music.  However, the idea makes for somewhat interesting context to hold a reader’s attention while they take in the important information…thanks for reading.
