Outside The Box To Pay Homage To The Band @ The Pony, Started A Turkey Drive, Up For Asbury Music Award

Asbury’s new favorite sons, Outside The Box, will return to the Boardwalk’s most hallowed music hall, The Stone Pony, on November 25th to pay homage to its favorite band, The Band, as well as raise awareness, and frozen turkeys, in association with local non-profit, Move For Hunger, and famed philanthropic eatery, The Windmill.

A limited amount of tickets for this event, one that should not be missed, are still available on ticketmaster, at The Stone Pony box office, and at participating Windmill restaurants (listed below), where donators of a frozen turkey will receive a pair of free tickets as well as a free hot dog (I definitely recommend this route because its such a great cause).

“In our economy’s current climate,” reads a statement released by Outside The Box, “there are many more families now than in the past that will struggle to put food on the table for Thanksgiving day.  Not only can you make a direct impact for this holiday, you will also come away with tickets for an incredible night of music at a legendary venue [The Stone Pony]…and a pretty damn good frank as well.”

As an experienced OTB listener/surveyor of the Blues-Rock outfit’s live show, and one who is well versed in the consumption of a Windmill hot dog, I can’t begin to explain how great a value this is for, and even greater cause.

Head out to one of the Windmills locations listed below with a frozen turkey under your arm and leave with two free tickets to the show, a free frankfurter, and the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve just made a member of our community’s holiday a lot brighter.  This is a no brainer.
