After a summer of touring, including high profile gigs at Newport Folk Festival,
Bamboozle, Banoaroo, and the Warped Tour, their summer was topped off by a six-song half-hour opening set for the Avett Brothers, and Devotchka, at the Holmdel PNC Art Center’s final show of the 2011 season.
RCE was nominated for seven Asbury Music Awards,
Taking home four: Top Live Performance; Top Local Release;
Top Americana; and one for Nic Cucci as Top Multi Instrumentalist.
River City Extension’s new music is set for an early May 2012 release.
