Shayfer James Covers Roy Orbison, Releasing New Full-Length, Playing Soundstation Tomorrow

Lord of the sinners, and ivory tickling Pop-Rocker, Shayfer James is less than two weeks away from dropping his sophomore full-length release, Counterfeit Arcade, the follow up to his 2010 debut The Owl & The Elephant, which is due out on November 29th (stay tuned for a review).

To celebrate the forthcoming record this patron saint of the amoral and songwriter for the wicked has surfaced with a rendition of Roy Orbison’s “In Dreams,” featuring still frames of the famed rocker, juxtaposed with clips from one of James’ favorite films, Blue Velvet.

Check out the video below and catch James tomorrow (November 19th) at Soundstation, the independent record store, in Westfield, NJ at 2 p.m.  No fee is necessary for admission.
