Lost In Society And The Obvious Play The Lanes Tonight, The Latter Introduce New Drummer

Lost In Society’s last trip to Asbury’s Lanes saw the outfit open for Strike Anywhere and A Wilhelm Scream, and the performance prior to that ended with front-man Zach Moyle tossing his axe through the florescent lighting above, thus, tonight’s scheduled set, alongside another of The Boardwalk’s finest Punk collectives, The Obvious, is bound be an exhilarating display of angst ridden artistry.

This evening marks an important step in the evolution of the aforementioned Obvious as the Angie Sugrim fronted group will welcome a new stick wielder to the lineup in Rob Blake, also known as the vocalist and axe wielder of PEAL and The Black Clouds, as well as the bass plucker in Last Perfect Thing…an impressive resume of local favorites.

“We’re super psyched to have Rob because he is a powerhouse,” explained Sugrim.  “He’s probably the hardest hitting drummer I’ve ever worked with, which is perfect for our sound.”

Sharing the stage with the previously mentioned a couple of tourmates, the Austin, TX-based Rock outfit Say Hello To The Angels and New York’s own Ska-Punk collective The Jukebox Romantics.

Doors open at 8 p.m. with a cover charge of $8 due upon entrance.  The Music starts at at 8:30 p.m…don’t miss it.
