Joe Harvard At The Brighton Bar Tonight, Released A Lot Of Music, At Langosta Lounge This Weekend

Tonight, one of Asbury’a favorite multi-instrumentalist with a taste for writing manuscripts about the history of The Velvet Underground, going so far as to front a tribute band of the Lou Reed-run outfit dubbed Velveeta, Joe Harvard, will take his annual Tuesday evening Soul Review back to The Brighton Bar.

Harvard will be joined by the rest of The Jersey Fresh Krewe that features such local artists as Keith McCarthy, Michael Brett, Desiree Spinks, Mallory Massara, “RotoDon” Haynie, and other special guests.  Doors are at 9 p.m. with $2 cover charge to be paid upon entrance, and drink specials including $2 PBRs…don’t miss it.

However, if for some reason you do have to be somewhere else, be sure to head out to Langosta Lounge on Friday night.  Same time, same band, same good time.

NOTE: Joe Harvard just launched a personal Bandcamp page with a huge catalogue of music, some of which is his own, some of which he’s done production work upon, some of these selections dating back to the early ’80s, some of them live recordings.  The music spans the history of Harvard’s musical career so go check it out here.
