Ivan Julian (Richard Hell & The Voidoids) Released Debut Album, Playing The Brighton Bar Tomorrow

Richard Hell & The Voidoids took New York City by storm in the late ’70s pioneering the spiked headed, platinum studded appearance and sound that would eventually be the trademarks of the CBGBs Punk scene, and as far reaching as the London Underground, inspiring such famed outfits as The Sex Pistols.

On Saturday evening The Voidoids famed axe wielder, Ivan Julian, will take to The Brighton Bar where he’ll perform several selections from 2011 debut release, a full-lengt record The Naked Flame, which you can stream, almost in its entirety, here, as well as check out the official music video for the record’s lead single and title-track below:

Sharing the planks with Julian will be the Central Jersey-based Sudden Ensemble, NYC’s Ingrid & The Defectors, Garden State Hard-Rock outfit The Cynz.  Doors are at  9 p.m. with a cover charge of $9 to be paid upon entrance.  Don’t miss out on seeing this legend perform in the areas premier house of Punk-Rock worship…The Brighton Bar.
