True Apothecary Drops New Song Feat. Jay Sakong Of Old Nick, New EP Coming Soon

By Chris Rotolo, The Creator

With a debut release titled Thank You, Janitor.  Thank You, Scientist (a play on dialogue taken from Half Baked), a collection containing such tunes as “High Noon” and “The Last Crusade,” the Westchester, NY-based Indie-Rock outfit,                          True Apothecary, owns an obvious affection for film references.  What’s far less known is the group’s strong accord with Old Nick front-man Jay Sakong.  However, both are featured on the group’s latest release, an acoustic piece named “The Eagle Has Landed,” quite possibly named after the 1976 WWII film starring Michael Caine, Donald Sutherland, Robert Duvall, and Dr. Loomis of Halloween as Heinrich Himmler…grab it below:

A more refined version of this number is slated to be included upon True Apothecary’s yet to be named EP that will be released in about one month.

Old Nick recently dropped its debut release, a seven-song full-length titled I’ve Seen Colors that can be owned by you at the following link.
