Quincy Mumford Covers Springsteen In Response To Tony Strollo Benefit Performance

After performing a soothing set of tunes on Saturday evening’s benefit for the late Tony Strollo at The Press Room that caught the ear of Bruce Springsteen, prompting The Boss to use his acoustic six-string on stage for a five-song set backing Michael Strollo, an inspired Quincy Mumford returned to the interwebs with a cover of Springsteen’s own                “Mary Queen Of Arkansas,” played out upon that aforementioned guitar.

Check out the video below and be sure to see Mumford and his band The Reason Why this weekend at The Saint where the outfit will record a live album during three performances over two days, one set on Friday (March 2nd) at 8 p.m. and a pair on Saturday, one at 3 p.m. and another 8 p.m.  Pickup tickets here.
