The Press Room Set To Host Only Official “Wrecking Ball” Listening Party On Monday, Get The Album At Jack’s (Red Bank) As Well

According to the man at   The Press Room’s reigns, Tim Donnelly, the newest musical staple in Downtown Asbury Park will play host to the only official listening party in the country for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s forthcoming full-length release Wrecking Ball.

In association with Columbia Records, Backstreets Magazine (Backstreets.com), and the wonderful people at Holdfast Records, the festivities will commence on Monday (March 5th) at 610 Bangs Avenue where the following schedule of events shall go down:

  • 5 pm – Doors and exclusive Wrecking Ball listening party
  • 8 pm – A screening of The Promise, a documentary film by Thom Zorn
  • 10 pm – Unveiling of the official album cover art (photo taken within The Press Room)
  • Midnight – Wrecking Ball officially on sale in CD and vinyl format

Partial proceeds from the evening will benefit the Asbury Park Technical Dance Academy…so come out, show your support, and spend a wonderful celebratory evening in the Bruceiverse.

NOTE: If for some reason you can’t make it to The Press Room, head over to Jack’s Music Shoppe in Red Bank who will also be hosting a midnight sale of Wrecking Ball on Monday.  Doors will open at 11:30 p.m. where raffles for undisclosed prizes will be held and eventually vinyl and CD forms of the record will be sold.  Refreshments will also be served.  Check it out.
