Break Contest Invitational, feat. Quincy Mumford, Breathing Blue, New Royalty, And More, Has Been Moved

According to the poster above, that was recently published by The WRAT’s own Maria Mar of the wonderful local music program on 95.9, Jersey Rock, The Break Contest Invitational scheduled to take place at The Paramount Theatre on March 31st has been moved to the other side of the Grand Arcade to the beach front locale that is the Asbury Park Convention Hall.

Another nice change, the previously reported $15 ticket charged has been completely dropped.  The show is now free to the public and doors open at 5 p.m.  Come on out and support these local musicians as the jockey for spot on The Bamboozle’s 10th anniversary lineup card.

    It’s refreshing to see the bands are not being asked to sell a certain number of tickets in order to play this thing. I am completely against pay for play. But now that it’s free and open to the public, I hope the community turns out and supports it.
