Breathing Blue Release New Single, Set To Play Break Invitational At The Stone Pony On April 1st

By Matt Ascone, Staff Writer

Fresh off their forthcoming album Inner Animal (due late Spring 2012), Breathing Blue has released a musical appetizer in the form of their latest single entitled “This Isn’t About You.” The song has all the hallmarks of what Breathing Blue’s loyal audience has come to expect from the hard-rocking sextet: Expertly crafted lyrics skillfully delivered by front-man Justin Sanford set against the musical mosaic of Breathing Blue’s three-pronged guitar attack (Rob Bost, Rudy Meier, Matt Basilotto) and their two-headed rhythm machine (Chris Dechert – bass, and Tyler Moellmann – drums). The song is classic Breathing Blue – and fans of the band will not be disappointed. If “This Isn’t About You” is any indication, Inner Animal will have Breathing Blue running wild from end to end of the Garden State in support of it – if not even further distances.

Breathing Blue will be playing a free show at the Stone Pony on Sunday, April 1st as part of The Break Contest Invitational. Breathing Blue is no stranger to this musical competition, having played their way into the lineup of The Bamboozle festival two years running because of it. The group took second place in 2010 and followed it up by winning it all in 2011.
