Phantom Power Releases New Music, Playing Asbury Lanes Tonight

The Asbury Experimental Indie-Rock collective known as Phantom Power released a pair of new tunes titled “Wrong Turn,” a sludgy piece of balladry suggesting a Jim Morrison-type tune if he the late Doors mastermind was born in 1971, instead of departing too soon, while honing his chops in the basements of Seattle rather than Venice Beach, CA coffee houses, and “A Crack In The Main,” a fuzzier number that overloads the senses.

Stream and download the tunes below and be sure to catch Phantom Power tonight at Asbury Lanes alongside Casey Desmond, Stereo Telescope, and the Bordwalkin’ fuzz bomb Wreaths.  Doors open at 8 p.m. with an cover charge of $8 to be paid upon admission.
