After its trip down south to play the SXSW Fest in Austin, TX, Asbury Indie-Rock duo Brick + Mortar saw its first Garden State action this past weekend at the Atlantic City Beer(And Music)fest but has announced its return to the Boardwalk as April 21st where the outfit will take to its favorite Boardwalk haunt Asbury Lanes.

In support of Brick + Mortar will the Philadelphia-based Electronic Dance Musician Jack Deezl and Jersey Lo-Fi Surf-Punks The Bennys.

Grab Brick + Mortar’s 2011 Heatstroke EP here, a series of Jack Deezl remixes here, and a tune I can’t stop pressing the replay button on named “Live Fast…Die Young” by The Bennys below:

Doors for the event open at 8 p.m. with a $10 cover to be paid upon admission…more support TBA so stay tuned.  Check out the show promo video below featuring a selection from Brick + Mortar’s yet to be released tune “Bangs,” which, according to Brandon Asraf, the band’s lead vocalist and string plucker of all sorts, will be dropping sometime in the near future.

“It’s going be part of a 7″ release on Mad Dragon/Boombox Generation Records,” explained Asraf.  “It’s part of a six-record, 7″ series curated and produced by Motion City Soundtrack.  We’re doing two songs on the 7″ and one bonus digital release.”

“We’re going to have real PR,” said Asraf in closing.  “So hopefully we’re in the position to put out a full length soon.”
