Northern New Jersey’s impressive Indie-Punk duo, The Front Bottoms, will return to Asbury Park for the first time since performing an abbreviated set at The Press Room on February 10th while opening for Joe Michelini of River City Extension (photos here).
After recently venturing to Austin, TX for the renown SXSW Music & Arts Festival, the owners of SIMGE’s favorite full-length release of 2011 joined forces with such internationally renown road warriors as Say Anything, Kevin Devine, and Fake Problems, a four-pronged assault of artistic proportions on the U.S. and a tour still set to conclude on April 11th at Mr. Small’s Theatre in Pittsburgh.
Several other solo tour stops along the East Coast will take place followed by consecutive area dates on April 21st in Philadelphia at the Road To Ruin Festival (feat. Diarrhea Planet, Iron Chic, Rational Animals, Luther, The Menzingers, The Holy Mess, Night Birds, Big Eyes, and more), April 22nd at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory with The Menzingers and Tigers Jaw, and finally an April 27th date at Asbury’s premier 10-pin penthouse and music locale, Asbury Lanes.
The Front Bottoms will be joined by local Rock N’ Roll revivalists Joe Wilson & The Loose Ends as well as Jacksonville’s own Folk-Punk soloist Emperor X. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are available for $14 here.
