New Brunswick troubadours and nostalgia imbibers, The Gaslight Anthem, are set to return with their fourth full length, Handwritten, on July 24th. Following along the same footpaths of their breakout success, American Slang (2010), the band has just released lead single “45” which you can hear for yourself below. The track employs the high energy and imploring choruses we’ve grown accustomed to hearing from Gaslight, and is a legitimate candidate to end up on “Summer of 2K12” mix tapes everywhere. Spin “45” and be sure to catch the band on one of their upcoming tour dates, including a trek to Asbury on May 20th for The Bamboozle. Keep on eye on SIMGE for the latest developments in anticipation of Handwritten’s upcoming release.
