James Wells (The Gay Blades) Lends Vocals To The Mayor’s New Track

If you’re not yet familiar with the East Hampton, New York Metal act, The Mayor, you’ll find out soon enough.  Fronted by mutli-instrumentalist and vocalist Mike Abiuso [The Venetia Fair, The Gay Blades, Kiss Kiss], The Mayor is an assault on the listeners senses, an adrenaline loaded syringe hiding in your sound system, waiting for the right gnarled guitar riff to leap out of the shadows and into an artery.

The band released its debut EP, There Will Be No Miracles Here, earlier this year (it can be downloaded for free here) and has since been recording a full-length record.

Yesterday, The Mayor released a new track titled “Fuck Like You Mean It” featuring The Gay Blades’ James Wells, apparently, in his first screaming vocal part ever.  Check it out on the band’s page here and grab a download of “There Will Be Blood,” a number off the group’s four-track EP.
