Karmic Juggernaut Drops First Single Off New EP, Releasing It Saturday At Paul’s Tavern

By Matt Ascone, Staff Writer

When Karmic Juggernaut’s latest single, “Guacamole Genie,” kicks in with its swirling, hard-driving riff, it is easy to assume “Well, here comes another typical metal song.” But oh how wrong you’d be; fusing Funk, Psychedelia, Metal, Prog-Rock, and Jam into an exquisitely eclectic elixir, K-Juggs dares to explore what happens when a band combines Hard-Rock sensibilities with a willingness to let go and explore the unknown.  “Guacamole Genie” features intricate guitar work, growling vocals, precise harmonies, and stop-on-a-dime tempo changes that only becomes more intriguing with each click of the play button.

Check it out below and Don’t miss the opportunity to see this uniquely talented three-piece at Paul’s Tavern & Cabin in Belmar, NJ this Saturday evening for its EP Release Party with fellow local favorites Devil’s Holiday and Lemon Juice.  Doors are at 8 p.m. with a cover charge of $7 to be paid upon admission…however, if you contact one of the bands for a special limited edition flyer, admission is only $5.  Don’t miss it.
